Group Dog and Puppy Obedience Training for Logan, the Gold Coast and Redland Area and Ipswich

(For Dogs 5.5 months and older)

Most pet owners call Craig A. Murray Dog Training with the common problem of not having enough control over their dog whilst in an environment where the dog is at a higher level of stimulation or distraction. For this reason, we usually recommend a group dog or puppy obedience training class for pet owners as this enables them to train in the environment and situation where they struggle the most.

How Our Dog and Puppy Obedience Training Works

At Craig A. Murray Dog School we offer a structured five week dog obedience training course where the owner learns how to control their dog under distraction and also how to get the dog working with and for you as part of a team. We offer these courses across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and all surrounding areas, so no matter where you are, you and your dog can receive adequate obedience training.

Our Dog school trainers are very strict on safety for all persons and dogs at our obedience classes and for this reason, we have a policy of all dogs and handlers to be kept three metres apart at all times. We are there to train your dogs under distraction and not for a ‘play session’.  We focus on getting you results so that you can maintain a lifestyle where you and your dog can enjoy your time together out in public.

Craig A. Murray trainers do not use any one particular type of method or equipment. We believe that every dog is an individual and as such should be treated accordingly. When you attend one of our dog school courses, you will be assessed together with your dog and then advised as to which equipment and method would best suit you as a team.

Most of our classes will be kept to around 10 dogs of all different shapes and sizes in a class.  Our classes are structured this way so we are still able to give individual attention when required. All participants will start their course together on week 1 and progress through to graduation on week 5. We have made our courses short and sweet due to most families being time poor.  We want you to be able to achieve great results in a short period of time. Let us teach you the tricks of the trade to get the most out of your relationship with your dog.

It is imperative that you register for this course online and that you have contact with your instructor before attending class. After you have registered online, an Instructor will email you with confirmation and the exact start date and time of your course. Please make sure you take the time to read our rules and regulations when you do register online as this will make sure your training experience is a pleasant one.
