Puppy Kindergarten Classes Puppy Kindergarten is to teach young pups between 8 to 16 weeks of age the necessary life experiences to ensure they will be a happy, sociable, non-stressed adult dog that can be reliably trusted in any situation or environment. The structure of our Puppy Kindergarten is to teach pup’s owners about correct discipline to enhance the human dog relationship, and to teach the pup and owner what is acceptable behaviour patterns to be enhanced, and which unacceptable behaviours should be diminished. We also teach how to prevent fearful behaviours, and how to gain correct structure within the household. The Puppy Kindergarten is not a structured obedience class for puppies, it is rather an early education system to prepare puppies for adapting to all new learning experiences throughout their entire life. The difference this makes to the adult dog that has attended is unbelievable and there is no substitute for correct early imprinting of pups. A correct Puppy Kindergarten should promote a reliable stress free puppy that has been adequately exposed to as many normal environments and environmental effects as possible, whilst limiting any unwanted or bad behaviours. |
